I need help on curling my hair pleaseeee?

my mom is out of town and picture day is on tuesday and i really want to curl my hair i don't have a curling iron and i don't really know how to curl it with a straightner i have long wavy ish dark brown hair and if you could help me like any tips on curling it would help or any other hair styles i could do that are easy please help lol


so questions 1- How to curl my hair without a curling iron or straightning iron?


2- If i can't curl it what other hairstyle would be good for picture day ?


p.s. my hair is long wavyish and dark brown :P

well if you look on youtube theres TONS of tutorials on how to curl your hair many different ways without heat, i know i saw one using paper bags.





but you could try braiding your hair when its wet, and sleeping on it then running your fingers through it to make it look a little more natural.


or, you could scrunch it with the curling mousse.

since it is already wavy, put mousse, hairspray, or gel, and scrunch it a little bit...
i curl my hair with gel, i use garnier fructis curl sculpyng. put a dime amount i ur hands, rub them together and scrunch into your hair on one side, repeat for the other side and the back. looks great
well you have wavy hair so maybe if you braid it and keep it that way for a while it might curll.. oh! the lil things you wrap ur hair around that they used in the 80's! i fergot wut they r called... uhm good luck
I wouldn't recommend curling your hair for picture day if you have never worn it that way before. You won't know how it's going to turn out or hold up and it will leave you frustrated the morning before school. The best way to wear your hair for picture day is the way you wear it every day! Otherwise if you want it to look a little fancy I would straighten it, especially if you straighten your hair every so often.
use curling rollers, hairspray and leave in for about a half an hour. then when you release hairspray them again.


Get a pencil, or similar object, wrap your hair around it and hairspray.


dampen your hair, braid it and leave it for a few hours, then hairspray.


get hair mousse, turn your head upside down and tousle.





these are all good methods to getting your hair curly.


tip: for even better curls, use volume shampoo.
You could always try braiding it after you shower, then let it dry in the braid. When it is completely dry, take out the braid and gently comb it out. You may want hairspray. The smaller the braid, the smaller the waves. Of course, it wont have the same look as curlers, but you could see how it looks in your hair. You may be pleasantly surprised.

If that doesnt work out what I did is i just washed my hair before i went to sleep and when it was damp ish i just put it into two braids and then I jsut went to sleep and in the morning when you take out the braids it looks realy cute its like wavy but u should try it like by yourself so that you now how to do it and make sure it will look fantabulous!! :)

as for curling it think twice about a curling iron, I'd use a flat iron just because its better for you hair, its quicker and easier.
