Amika straightners how do i curl with them?!?

okay so i just bought an amika straightner like a week ago...and ive been trying to curl my hair but when i do it it pulls it and it hurts. im pretty sure im curling it right..is it really ment to curl your hair or am i just doing it wrong?Amika straightners how do i curl with them?!?
well im not familiar with amika. but i have a Babyliss straightener and its amazing. i use it to curl, and straighten. to curl, you hold the straightener at the top of yer hair, like ur gonna straighten it. then you tilt it so its flat on its side. then yer gonna slowly go down, keeping the straightener horizontal. as you pull down, you should also pull away from your face, not out to the side, but in front of yer face. it should give you some curl, if you do it right.

I just bought one today and it isnt really curling my hair that great but when the lady curled it, it looked amazing. I found this video but it didnt help me alot but maybe it will help you.
