How do i get straight hair?

Ok, so i have wavy hair and it curls badly in ear area, and i want to know how to get it straight?





ive been using a hair straightner every day for a while and it just ends up going back to being all horrible.





i was wondering if there is a way besides using a hair straightner (because that doesnt seem to be working) to get my hair to STAY straight?





(cus people with straight hair can make their cair curly/wavy, why cant i switch it around?)How do i get straight hair?

A perm will straighten your hair. Go to sally store ask for it.
you could try using like hair products for straightening hair and test those out, or you could ask like the people at hair salons if there is a better way to straighten your hair

You probably have a low-quality flat iron (hair strightener). If you cant buy a good one (high quality are usually upwards of 75$) then try straightening what you want strightened, then spraying with hairspray, brushing through so it doesnt get hard, then spraying in some kind of shine/protection spray to keep the heat of the flat iron from damaging your hair.


You can also try using shampoos made to help get hair straighter, like Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight, among others.
Just chemically straighten it

well start using shampoo and conditioner made to straighten hair (sunsilk straighten up!%26lt; i think thats what its called)





add a straightning lotion, and heat protecting spray.





blowdry hair straight; using a big round brush.





run a straightner through it to get pin straight, and a shiner look.





finally, spray a paddle brush with hairspray-not too much though, and run it through your hair.





well, try this out. i can almost gaurentee you will have straight hair.
well, you should probably get a new straightener. they sell ones that go up to 450 degrees at marshalls if u have one near you and they are only 30 bucks that used to be 100! but if you cannot afford one, then there is a product by tresemme that you put in your hair before straightening, then u straighten and it comes out silky smooth. heres the link:

get it permanently straightened





use a hot brush





OR you could just use a **** load of hairspray!! So you'll be the main cause of the whole in the ozone layer who cares, at least you'll have great hair!! =D
i had the same problem untill my mom got african pride perm she bought the whole set..the gel..the grese...detangler u have to try it then she flat ironed it it came out pretty and it doesnt poff back up either..it last about a month and a half...try it

I have wavy kind of curly hair too! If you're looking to get rid of hair that curls around your hair line and your ears let your hair dry in a tight bun, that will pull those hairs straight. Also, letting your hair dry in a bun will make it straighter. Sometimes loose braids can pull your hair straighter too. Now doing just this will not make your hair completely straight, but it will make it a little bit straighter to begin with, which will make flat ironing it much easier. Plus instead of just straightening it, if you have time try blow drying it in a downward motion, it will close the cuticle of your hair and make it silkier. Then if you want it to be really straight you can flat iron it after ward. Hope I helped!
Well first, make sure you have a good hair straightener. A good one will cost a good $70 or higher.


Second, what ethnic group are you? If you're Caucasian and you've tried everything then I would recommend the Japanese straightening perm. A friend of mine said it was her last resort and it looks really great.


If you're African American, or have hair similar, just go and get a hair relaxer/ perm. Just make sure you read the box get whats right for your hair.

use egg white %26amp; limejuice mixed apply twice a week %26amp; try to use mehandi once a week, am suggesting this to u because i have used it %26amp; its really effective.
