If you want like soft wavy hair get your straightners and then kindof;

Pull up about and inch and then kindof pull down an inch and then up and then down.

I'm not sure I'm explaining it very well but do a kind of upwards and downwards zigzag in each section of your hair.

Make sure you finish going downwards though or you will end up with it going flicky.

Use hairspray.Help with curling hair !!?
Get a wig.
correction to firts guys statement : Get SOME wigs... (notice the plural)
This curling technic does not need a curling iron:

Here it is:

You will need:

Marc Anthony Curly hair

The yellow 'CURLY' bottle

You can get this product at any Drug store in hair section

Curling shampoo:

The conditioner too...

Step 1: Wash your hair with the TOTALLY TWISTED SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER

step 2: Wrap your hair in a towel until it becomes still alittle damp

step 3: Put just a little bit of the Marc Anthony thing and scrunch it into your hair

step 4: You can either use a hair dryer or let it dry by air

AND THIS WILL BE YOUR HAIR ( beachy wavy hair)

the link you posted does not show a specific picture but the type of curls you want can be made 1 of 2 ways.

1) hot rollers. Blowdry clean hair dry. Wrap sections of dry hair around heated rollers from end to root. Let sit until rollers have cooled completely. remove rollers. spray with hairspray. use fingers to relax curls and style.

2) velcro rollers. These work great and are very inexpensive (check at walmart, and even some dollar stores). blowdry clean hair until it is damp. Wrap rollers with hair sections from tip to root beginning at forhead and working back. finish blowdrying. Allow hair to cool before unwrapping rollers. Spray, and use fingers to style.

In my experience, curling irons work for touch-ups only. I have never had success with them when curling ALL of my hair, and they generall create smaller curls, even the large barrelled ones.
You could always use heated rollers and hairspray. Heat the rollers up and take a section of hair. Roll the roller in from the ends to the roots and spray some hairspray on it. Do this throughout the whole head. Then respray the whole head. Leave it for at least 20 minutes and then carefully take the rollers out. Try not to pull it too much otherwise you will pull out the curl. Once you have taken out all the rollers decide what style you are going to have. Do the style and leave it. Don;t keep touching it otherwise it will fall out.
