these waves are called beach waves... here is a few ideas and websites to create them...

Idea 1)

For a fast, quick-drying version of beachy waves, towel-dry hair and comb out hair. Spray mousse in your palm (baseball-size if you have long hair, golf ball-size if it's shoulder-length or shorter). Tilt your head to the size and scrunch mousse from the ends on up on one side, then repeat on the other side. Let hair air-dry, scrunching every so often as it dries. DON'T brush hair out.

Turn upside down and spray freshly washed roots with volumizing or texturizing spray. Massage it in I like Bumble and Bumble or you can try Aveda volumizing tonic .

If hair is naturally coarse or curly, work a straightening balm through hair. Here's a great list of balms.

Brush hair (this works the product evenly through hair). Blowdry hair straight, starting at the roots to get extra volume. Hair must be completely dry for this look to work. Blow cold air at the roots to add volume (cold air locks in a style).

Separate hair into three sections, securing with a ponytail holder. (It's easier this way to curl your way through each section).

To curl hair, use a wide-barrel curling iron. Starting with one section, take a 1-inch portion of hair, spritz it with styling spray (again, I love Bumble and Bumble Styling Spray) or hairspray. Wrap hair around the barrel of the curling iron. (Wrapping hair is different from the traditional curling method. You don't want to 'clip' hair into the barrel. Wrapping allows you to curl all the way to the root). When you're curling, make sure to leave ends loose to avoid a crimp mark.

Release the curl after about 5-10 seconds (hold longer if you want a tighter curl). You should have a corkscrew curl.

Roll curl and bobby pin it close to the scalp. (I'm lazy, so I skip this step to save time).

Alternate the direction of the curl as you work your way through each section. (It's all in the direction you wind hair around the barrel of the curling iron. Start by placing hair on top of the barrel and wrapping around, then switch by putting the barrel on top of the hair before winding it around). Alternating directions makes curls look more natural. Some curls can remain tight, some loose.

Once pinned curls have cooled, release them.

Remove nozzle from dryer and gently loosen waves with cool air. You can also separate curls with your fingers, just make sure not to brush them out.

To add shine, spritz a hair serum . You can forego hair serum and spritz with saltwater spray. I like John Frieda Beach Blonde Ocean Waves Sea spray.

Set with hairspray. Just don't overdo it, you don't want new waves to feel ';crunchy.';

Idea 2) Start with clean hair. This way you don't have to worry about product build up interferring with your curls. Shampoo your hair as normal. Deep condition for 20 minutes with a plastic cap. This way your hair will hold moisture longer and shine.

Step 2Once hair is dry, moisturize your hair in sections. Use a light water-based moisturizer (not oily), or a light cream conditioner. Be sure to completely moisturize from root to tip without super saturating. Lightly apply a natural oil, coconut, olive or grapeseed will do just fine.

Step 3Comb and detangle hair with wide tooth or small tooth comb as appropriate. Separate hair into two sections by parting from ear to ear.

Step 4Apply a setting lotion very lightly to each section of hair. Brush each section into an individual pony. Now take the loose pony and wrap it around the scrunchy and tuck the ends in with a hair pin. ( Wrap hair like you would a chignon)

Step 5Finish with a light spray of oil sheen. Tie hair with satin scarf and wear overnight. The next morning, undo both ponys and finger comb into a style of your choice. Use more oil sheen if you desire more shine.

Idea 3)

1Start with clean dry hair. You can either use the hair that you woke up with--which works better if your hair is naturally straight--or, if you have curly or wavy hair, you will want to wash it and then either let it dry naturally or blow dry it. Always apply heat protecting spray when you are going to use thermal styling tools.

Step 2Tease your hair at the root for more volume at the top. Hold sections up, spray at the root with hairspray and brush downward in quick strokes. This step is optional if you don't like to tease your hair or feel you already have enough volume.

Step 3Take 1-inch sections at a time. Clamp a narrow flat iron starting at the top of each section and turn it 180 degrees so it creates a curve. Only hold it for a few seconds and let go--don't tug or pull it down. Do this down each section to create as many waves as you want.

Step 4Spray a little hairspray when you are done to help hold the waves in place and to give them a slightly scrunchy feel.

How do I get my natural curls back?

I've straightened my hair every day for about two months. My nautral hair is extremely curly. After taking a shower, it doesn't curl anymore. Instead, it comes out pin straight.

I curled it with the same straightner i used before for about four months, but my hair still comes out straight. I've asked this question before and a few people said to use a defuser.

So far, I've been using a defuser for a week.

How long will i have to use it until my hair starts curling again?

And is there anything else i can do to get my hair to curl again, fast? How do I get my natural curls back?
just go get a perm or something if you miss them curls%26lt;3How do I get my natural curls back?
well make sure you don't use the straightener anymore; at least until your hair goes naturally curly again. :P
try cutting it
stop straightening your hair. Maybe your hair is too long and too heavy so its weighed down.

Thing to do with my hair without using heat?

Im going to camo in an hour..for the weekend..

and i dont really want to bring my straightner or curling iron..

so..i would like some idea on what to do without using heat.

pic..links..or explain how to do it.Thing to do with my hair without using heat?
Use bobby pins to curl your hair.

http://www.wikihow.com/Curl-Hair-With-Bo鈥?/a>Thing to do with my hair without using heat?
you could put it in plaits overnight, or in curlers?
You could use cold wave rods. You can wash your hair, put hair mousse in it and roll it up. You get a beautiful curl that lasts for at least 3 days if done right.
u could wash it and put mouse in it, only if your hair is naturally curly or wavey tho.. or you could put rollers in before you go to bed,, or you could always just put it up in a nice messy bun and keep a fringe or two strands at the front or you could put it up in a quiff. you could put you hair in very loose plaits on damp hair over night to create a beach hair look.

Help me? conair straightner problem.?

Okay so ive had a conair straightner/curling iron with ceramic platessince 7th grade ( i am in 9th grade now) My hair has gone from sleek wavyish, to hella fryed up an frizzy wavy hair because of straightning i assume since i never blowdry my hair..

anyway i want to know if its because ive been straightening my hair for 2 years but in the middle of 8th grade i started using heat protection or because its a crappy straighter?

anyone who has this straightner, tell me how ur hair is after using this.

also am i damaging my hair?

all year 8th grade i washed and straightened my hair everyday.

this year in 9th grade, i straighten it about 3 times a week.

my hair is like really fryed up and yeah,

ia there anything i can do to repair it?Help me? conair straightner problem.?
I'd recommend getting some heat protection spray from sallys. They have the best. Either the silk elements or the ion brand. Tresemme products don't work for me at all I wouldn't recommend them. They also have some shampoo and conditioner from sallys called Biotera. It works really good. If you use the heat protection spray with a good conditioner your hair will start to get healthier.Help me? conair straightner problem.?
I also own a Conair but now I've upgraded to a Sedu 1'; straightener. This can be purchased at folica.com

You should also buy a higher quality straightener because that is less damaging to your hair.. cheap drugstore ones aren't made with real ceramic plates which can be damaging to your hair.

I would also check out the ozonhair.com website because their irons are highly rated as well.

Also, try a deep conditioner (Garner Fructis) to help restore your hair..

hopefully this helped! :)
You might be setting the heat up to high, if your hair is finer and smoother then you need to have it on a lower setting.

It also might be because of the shampoo and conditioner you are using, I find that Tresemme works the best for restoring my hair and keeping it healthy

How do I activate my natural spiral curly hair to how it used to be before chemical straightening?? HELP!!?

I used a chemical straightner in my hair over a year ago. I did it twice with about a month of time rest between the sessions. It was called Easy Straight.

Ever since then, my hair was never completely straight (like the box said it would be) and it was never curly like it used to be.

I miss my curly curly hair and have been tryin different things to make it activate again. I cut it to my shoulders (it used to be to the middle of my back), used deep conditioners, used ';scrunch'; gel, curl activator cremes, sprays, oils... nothing seems to help my spiral come back...

I'm wondering if the curl is damaged at the root? does anybody whos done perms know what to use to help the curl come back?? I desperately want my curls back.

Thank you.

PS: I have a mixed hair type. Thick, semi course, but soft.

it is now a little below my shoulders. I have colored and highlighted it in the past months too.

HELP PLEASE!How do I activate my natural spiral curly hair to how it used to be before chemical straightening?? HELP!!?
IF YOU CUT ALL OF YOUR STRAIGHTENED HAIR OFF THEN IT SHOULD BE THE SAME AS IT USED TO BE... IM GUESSING YOUR TEXTURE CHANGED... BUT YOU COULD TRY SUNSILK SHAMPOO

If you have straight hair and you want it wavy then you dont want to put a straighter in your hair. You use one if your hair is curly and you want to take some curl out.you can use a large curl iron or very large curler.or have a body wave perm put in your hair on very large perm rods to get it which will last you a long time. How to get natural waves in your hair?
Sometimes braiding your hair then removing the braids can make it very frizzy but i think it depends on the amount of braids. I find making 3 braids really helps. Braid at night then take them out in the morning and voila! Also, you could wash your hair at night, put it up in a very messy bun in a clip or a couple of hair ties and then when you take it out- natural waves! Hope i helped!
you should try ragging your hair! it works really well. you basically tie lots of little sections of your hair in little tight buns on your head using rags of material. i cant really explain how you do it but they have lots of videos on youtube that show you :)

the only problem with it is that its kind of uncomfortable because you have to sleep with lots of lumps of material in your hair, but trust me it looks amazing the next day :)
I found a video on YouTube (I can't find it again though but I'll post it if I do) Anyway she put mousse in her hair and scrunched it when it was most of the way dry, then put it in a messy loopy bun when it had fully dried then left it overnight. She seemed to have naturally straight hair and it ended up looking great at the end. Hope this was helpful!
You should go on youtube and look up miley inspired hairstyles.. They will show you exactly how to do it.
you could try scruching it, just get a scrunching gel and wel.. scrunch haha

if you want your hair silky and straight get your hair chemically straightened. but they're a lot of money, usually around 400 dollars. but if its what you want

I'd love some advice on how I can better do my new hairstyle....?

I naturally have really thick wavy hair.

Usually, I blow dry and use a straightner to style it straight.

I just started curling my hair with a curling iron and I'm getting alot of compliments. I love it too.

But I'm not sure how to style it better.

I blow dry it after I shower, and strighten the root area (so it won't look puffy at the top) then I curl it with a curling iron.

This process usually takes awhile. I'm not used to curling it, and sometimes the curls don't come out the way I hoped.

I could really use some advice to better prepare my hair the way I want it to be. Thanks in advance. :]I'd love some advice on how I can better do my new hairstyle....?

ok so being a baller that i am, i decide to try straigtening my hair with a curling iron.(i dont have a straightner).....so umm should i have used heat spray.... i didnt starighten it for very long and my hair dosent feel fryed. Will my hair be ok?

Also when straightening your hair....how in gods name do you get the back???

Thanks for your help!!!Hair help! i know you can do it:D?
Your okay you only did it once. Your gonna want to use a silicone free heat protectant when you blow dry your hair so its in there when you go to flat iron it. Spend the 20 bucks and get a flat iron. They all do the same thing. Some just cost more. I could never get the back of my hair either but I luckily am a hair stylist and work in a salon so what I did was and had great results was, I had my hair Bio Ionic Straightened. It's like a 2 hour process costs about $250 if you don't know anybody in the industry. It came out great. I just blow dry it and it is perfectly straight everyday. Good Luck!

http://www.lsalon.com/Bioionics/bioionic鈥?/a>Hair help! i know you can do it:D?
did you do this upstairs or down?

    ouch if down!
it should be finee. and i just stretch my arms around the back of my head to get the back ha practice makes perfect.
repetitive hair straightning with any tool is bad for your hair, it could cause long term damage!
Of course you should have use it. It protects your hair from being damaged from the heat - huge plus, there. Since you haven't straighten your hair in a while, you will be fine. :)

To do the back of your hair, set up a mirror in front of a bigger mirror so that you can look into the mirror in front of you, and view the back of your head in the bigger mirror, and get the back good.
I'm sure your hair will be fine once it gets over the irony.

As for the back, maybe use two mirrors so you can see where you're straightening?
Haha yeah, I used to do that too...flat irons work sooo much better though; they're worth the money. Your hair will be fine...do use a heat protecting spray...and just feel your way around the back and check your results with a mirror held up to another mirror (so you can see the back of your head)

    ;)
    straightening with a curler??

    am i missing something?
you can use that Tresseme' thermal spray before you straighten your hair it works good. does the curling iron have different heat settings?? if so, then just put it sort of a little beneath the middle and if that isn't hot enough to straighten a piece then just turn it up a little more. you don't want it on too high, although it straightens it very well, your hair will eventually get fried! and you just section the back and you could clip it up after straightening each piece starting with the top and working your way to the bottom =)

How do you style your hair like this?

    That's easy.

You just curl it with a 2in barrel.

Use some styling cream and part your hair in sections and wrap it around the barrel for about 40 seconds.

Do it in different directions...it looks better.

well....i suggest using sunsilk waves of envy...the spray or the cream...they made my hair wavy like that when i used it...so you can try that out if you want.
Wow it's pretty. You can get special shampoos and creams to help with the waves. That's the only thing i can think of.
    yea
    use Style cream

Dry brittle hair with lots of knots...how to fix it without breaking the budget if possible?

I always had really smooth curly hair. I moved to different climate changes a few times, played with color once or twice, but I hardly ever take a blow dryer, straightner, curling iron etc to it. My hair has always come out several strands at a time but I have a very dense head of hair and no balding or thinning spots and my hairdresser said it was normal so i never worried about it. But this past year its gotten worse for some reason. I was going through some things emotionally so I haven't done anything to it in almost a year now, but I just recently moved again and now my hair is tangling into these terrible knots that resemble rats nests. What can I do to improve the condition of my hair, and what made it this way in the first place so as not to make the same mistake?Dry brittle hair with lots of knots...how to fix it without breaking the budget if possible?
Well here are some you can chose from to make your hair look healther. :)

    ......................................鈥?br>

Mash a ripe banana and mix with almond oil.Masage entire head.Leave on for 15 minutes.Rinse thoroughly.

    ......................................鈥?br>

    Take an over ripe avocado:

Mash it up,and blend through dry hair.Leave the mixture in on for 30 minutes.Shampoo thoroughly.

    ......................................鈥?br>

Mix 1 egg, 1 teaspoon honey, and 2 teaspoons oilive oil.Apply to wet hair.Cover with a shower cap or layer of plastic wrap.Leave on for at least 30 minutes before shapooing out.

    ......................................鈥?br>

Use yogurt as a conditioner/final rinse.

Rub in after shampooing.Leave on for 20 minutes.Rinse with warm water.

    ......................................鈥?br>

Mix egg (one to two eggs in a cup not your whole bottle of shampoo it could go bad)with your normal shampoo and rinse(only use cold too warm water it could scramble in your hair!).

    ......................................鈥?br>

Honey works well if you put some in a cup with your normal conditioner.

    Hope I helped!!.

you sid you haven't done anything to it? What is your routine like? Sounds like the cuticle is just really damaged that it is knotting like that. Best thing I can think of and I ama cosmetologist, that wont break the bank, is go to a beauty store, like a sally beauty or something, get silk drops and an anti frizz shampoo that is sulfate free. silk drops while its wet, and after if you think its knotting too much still. be sure to stay a few inches from scalp, may cause greasiness if your hair is prone to be slightly greasy already.

You could do a french braid half ponytail. Here are the steps.

    1. Straighten your hair.

    2. Take a piece of hair on one side of your head that is in the very front and make it into three parts.

    3. Begin braiding, but as you braid going back, gather pieces of hair to make a french braid on one side of your head.

    4. Once you reach the back of your head, stop braiding and clip it down. Repeat these steps on the other side.

    5. Take out the hair clips, holding the hair tightly so the braid doesn't come out and tie those two strands of hair together, creating a half ponytail.

Sorry if my instructions aren't very good, I made this hairstyle up before, so they may not be very clear. Good luck!
Hmmmm, im honestly not sure how im going to explain this.

Or mabe, like if you have bangs, braid them to the side, and bobby-pin them down.

Or like, the 2nd picture link, like that, but braid the sides, and connect them at the bottom with a small rubber band.

This is a trick that my hairstlyist (also my grandma and she IS licenced) to achieve soft hair. This procedure is for dry, dandruff or flake-prone, and damaged hair. Here are the steps and make sure to follow them exactly to get the best results!

1)Wash hair as you normally would. When putting in the conditioner massage gently on scalp and make sure to put plenty on the ends!

    2) Let conditioner sit in hair for about 15-20 mins or you can use a blow-dryer to cut time. If you use a blow dryer then leave conditioner in for 10-15 mins.

    3) Wash out conditioner and do entire wash sequence again only this time washing out the conditioner.

    4) Use a spray-in conditioner and spray a generous amount on ends of hair and small amount on scalp. Using a hair pick, pick out hair. For best results let hair air-dry.

    5) do this about 3-4 times a week for 2 weeks. After that you can cut back on using this procedure and just use it when needed.

    Hope this helps!

PS: this definately works! I use it and have recommended it to other askers. They have tried it and loved the results and I hope you do too!

  • What should I do with my hair!?

I have naturally wavy hair but usually striaghten it but I don't always love how it turns out. What are other techniques or styles I could try? I have a straightner, curling iron, etc. I have dirty blond hair, down to my chest. Please help me!!!!!!!!!What should I do with my hair!?
If you want straight hair I'd suggest the following routine:

right after getting out of the shower, run a quarter sized amount of smoothing/straightening cream through your hair, squeeze water out of hair with towel then blow dry individual sections of your hair, aiming the dryer down towards the ends. Use protection serum(if you have it) on hair, then straighten by clipping up hair and doing undersides first. After straightening, you can put some more cream in it.

For low-maintenance curls, you could squeeze water out of your hair with your hands(avoid the towel for less frizz) then put some curl cream into your hair and let air dry. when its mostly dry you can scrunch it some with your fingers and pump up the roots with some hairspray. What should I do with my hair!?
try clipping it up, side ponytail, plaits anything! http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind鈥?/a>
you should curl it like this http://images.icnetwork.co.uk/upl/icnewc鈥?/a>

Why does my hair do this??

i have curly wavy thick hair.its cut in short-ish layers and is shoulder length.i got it thinned back in april.

    so heres the thing:

i take a shower, put some cream in my hair that makes it not frizz then i let it dry sometimes naturally sometimes with a blowdryer.then i add a spray that makes hair get straighter faster and controls frizz,i spray it in my hair on sections then i tie my hair up and straighten small sections at a time.usually like 3 or 4 tiny strands at a time so i can get them all really straight.it gets really pretty straight but after about 10 minutes it starts to curl up at the ends.it looks pretty but i dont like it like that.i want my ends to stay straight.its not just the tips but like 3 inches of my hair on the bottom.it curls up.how do i get it to stop?i want my hair to be stick straight at the bottoms not curled...

    thanks in advance.

oh and i use really good products for my hair and a fhi straightner.it really does a good jobWhy does my hair do this??
    concentrate on your ends.

    alot

and afterwards spray hairspray on the ends to keep 'em straight. Why does my hair do this??
THAT HAPPENS TO ME TO....I SUGGEST USING A HAIR STRAIGNTING CREAM AND ADD HAIRSPRAY WHEN YOUR DONE
my hair does that to... but if your hair is just under ur sholder ( like 2 inches) it is at an awkward length so it just curls up like that... unless u go over it like 10 timezz nothing else will work... ive tried everything else... good luck!!!!!

    :D
    my hair does that too!

i use hairspray b4 i straighten it and after i straighten it

it usally holds until the next day
k well mine used to do that and what i did was i stopped blow drying it and stopped using so many hair products, but thats it

Help adjusting to my curly hair?

Okay, so basically... my hair is Medium-Long, black and I have long curls and over the summer I got long side bangs (BAD IDEA WITH CURLY HAIR! I'M FOREVER STRAIGHTENING THEM!)

But I'm constantly wearing my hair in a pony-tail because i'm afraid to let my curls show!!!

All my friends have DEAD straight hair... like, its scary and I'm so jelous of it! They have it so easy... shower, comb leave it down, go to school! If i leave mines down, it turns into frizzy-city.

Anyways, I don't know, I want to try something new with my hair.

My straightner recently broke, so i'm pretty much screwed with straight hair (i'm thinking of buying a chi @ christmas).

But I want to try to work with my curly hair, and learn to leave it out and show off my curls! Ibought Aussie mouse and hairspray the other day... but I don't know how to apply it properly... should I buy ';Rednek'; or ';Bedhead'; which ones do you suggest?

+ How do I shower with my curly hair?

Could you help me pleaseeee? :(.

Every single hairstyle I've had since school started has been the same ponytail! I'm getting sick of it.

Thanks!Help adjusting to my curly hair?
I've been there and it's no fun that's for sure. You're going to have to experiment till you find something that works with your hair. For now you could try braiding or putting it up in a messy bun also.

As far as products go, I don't like the ones you bought. But with mousse you should just put it in your hair after you get out of the shower and scrunch. You're going to either have to shower in the morning before school or wear your hair in a turban overnight. Showering in the morning wakes me up personally. Anyways some good drug store products are suave naturals conditioner, LA Looks Sport gel, and l'oreal out of bed instant texturizer (underneath) which comes in a black tub.

Here are some basic tips for curly hair that you might find helpful:

*Try to find a stylist who knows how to work with curly hair. You can find ratings here: http://www.naturallycurly.com/curlsalons

    *Don't shampoo every day.

*Comb conditioner through hair in the shower.

*Never use a brush, only a comb or better yet fingers, when wet.

*Apply styling products to dripping wet hair

*Use styling products suited for your hair type. Don鈥檛 know yours? http://www.naturallycurly.com/hair-types

*Avoid terrycloth towels; use microfiber or tshirts instead.

*Air dry or use a diffuser with your blowdryer.

*Don't touch your hair while it鈥檚 drying.

For specific products for your hair type you might want to explore the forums at:

    http://www.naturallycurly.com/curltalk/

There you can find others with the same hair type and try out some of their favorite products. So that鈥檚 really useful.

Lastly, it has made my hair so much better since I started the curly girl method! I used to almost never wear it down (it was a frizz/poof ball), but now I have pretty, shiny curls. ~:) It鈥檚 pretty radical鈥攏o sulfates (shampoo) or silicones鈥攂ut it鈥檚 so great for curly hair. Give it a shot and check it out:

Help adjusting to my curly hair?
dont worry hun i have long curly hair too.

what i do is i shower every night and use sunslike waves of envy too calm my curls and turn them into waves i use the whole line. after i shampoo and condition i use sunsilk waves of envy spray and gel and lightly twist some strands of hair and air dry

in the morning i put some hair spray in and if some pieces are too frizzy i will curl them but if you dont want to do that then just put some defrizzing stuff
    just let you hair down!

who cares if your friends have straight hair, you'll be original! and curls are totally in. just buy an anti-fizz.

    p.s go with bedhead.

    ~Dancing

    curly hair is nice! !I

I have waby hair and all my friends straight and guys like my hair most! haha=)

use a bug curling iron and it will straignten it also use lots of mouse http://i.ehow.com/images/GlobalPhoto/Art鈥?/a>
I HAV THE SAME PROBLEM!!! my hair is curly/frizzy and medium long. ive tried many ways to put it down

try putting heat protector in @ nite. it also makes it SOO soft and shiny (in a good way). u can get this @ walgreens or cvs or walmart i think

put it back in hair ties @ nite wen its wet and sleep on it... that mite also help

    good luck
Well i basically wear my hair curly every day but it takes alot of work and alot of products to try to profect your hair the way you like it.

I have like a mixture of waves and curls and its like afrooy

I wash my hair in the shower then i get out and i put in Curls rock curl amplifier which is made by tigi which makes bedhead. You could also get noodle head curl cream from sallys or any curl cream.

The you have to test how much you need i put 1 pump just depending on how thick your hair is and coat it all over your hair.

And whatever you do dont brush your hair. becuase that seperates your curl pattern. Then you could put some frizz serum or shine spray then you sleep on it and wake up in the morning and you can use a light hairspray to set it.

I do lots of thing with my hair curly i wear it halfup halfdown like loosley and i wear it in a bump you can also just straighten your bangs and let it just blend it aldo in a side pony tail and plastic like head bands and pushes your bangs back you can really do anything i would look in magazine and just try to recreate looks your way or your own take on it. Once you get the hang of it you could do anything with it!

    Well ggood luck!

How should i do my hair for tonight?

I'm going to a fireworks show with 2 of my good friends (who plan on going ';guy hunting'; lol) but im going to be meeting my boyfriend there and spending some time with him. i want my hair to look cute but it doesn't cooperate with me. ever.

It is lightish brown with lots of different blonde highlights in it throughout it, i also have short side swept bangs. i have a curling iron, straightner and lots of hair products and a blow dryer. i kind of wanna stay away from straightening because i do that everyday.

makeup tips are helpful too, i have dark blue/green/hazel eyes. lolHow should i do my hair for tonight?
You can do a high ponytail if you have long hair. Those always look amazing!

Or, you can cover your hands in styling gel, scrunch your hair with your hands. Then leave it down for a beautiful natural look.

Another great style is French braids. French braids look pretty with any length of hair. How should i do my hair for tonight?
one idea)Straighten ALL your hair and curl a part in the side not in the front. It will look supper cute! Do the curl on one of the blonde highlights.

second idea)Also you can curl your hair and keep it plain

(tip)Shower before you fix your hair

(another idea)Try plain straight hair with a blue flower that will go with your eyes and voila!

Make up: a little bit of blush and some lip gloss or tinted lipgloss (pink or light brown) and some mascara. you can also try going make upless. it will make you look natural

So how do i get curls?

So i asked you guys if i should perm it and you said no soo

what should i do to get curls other than curling my hair with a curler or straightner can you help me out :] thanks xxxSo how do i get curls?
Try those caruso steam rollers. They work nicely

    :)

PiNkSo how do i get curls?
go to a hair salon they might be able to give you some shampoo that curls your hair

my friend bought stuff to straiten her hair and it worked

or you can just curl it but i suggest the shampoo
Its obvious, with curlers :S thats basically the best way why do you want anothe way ?

    its like ..

    you can either perm it

or put rollers in (probs the next best one )

    or do it with curlers

or u can do it with straightener but it dnt look as gd

    ly x
Before you go to bed put youe hair in two tight plaits and tthen sleep with that and then when you take them out they will be curlyish/ wavyish!

Its awesome my ex girlfriend did it and look pretty.
you could plait it before you go to bed for loose beachy waves the next morning

    -or-

you could use rollers , heated or not heated

    :)
    Bendy rollers are great :]

You can buy them in most big chemists

You wash you hair and put them in while your hair is quite damp and then blowdry your hair

And then take them out, and there you go!

    All done!

    Hope I Helped :]

    xxx
well at the store they have this gel called curl and scrunch.

    i would buy that.

    it looks extremely cute.

theres many ways you can style your hair with that

    .. curls, beach hair,wavy...

i ususally use garnier fructis curl and scrunch.

it comes in a light green tube.

    it's at target.

when i used it i got tons of compliments so id try it. just follow the directions on the back, yer hair has to be wet when you do it and stuff and it doesnt take too long.

if not try using a crimper from conair or something, crimps always look cute :)
you can wash it then leave it to air dry depending how straight and thin it is you will get some curls

or braid it at night and then curls is the morning worked for me :D
eat the crusts off your bread

everyone knows it gives curly hair lol

    :]
Hi x) You can use a shampoo or just use moose and gel and scrunch it if not curl it and maybe also moose it after + scrunch

or you can perm it but it cost quite alot x
    Rollers

    Plaiting Them or Braiding Them

After Washing Hair, Scrunch It Or Put It In A Tight Bun, Then, When Your Hair Drys, Take Them Out
silly question really, why do you want curls?if god had wanted you to have curls you would have, them, tongue in cheek, , do yu like raw carrots. they wont make your hair curly but they taste nice.
yeah i think curlers would probably be your best option. all these people above me have really good suggestions.

but if all that doesnt work...

i'll tell you what i do to my hair.

but my hair is naturally curly so it kind of emphasizes my curls more

but when i tell my friends to do this (and they have straight hair) they always come out with wavy or curly hair if they do it right.

so i take curl sculpting gel kinda thing (i use catwalk curls rock. its amazing)

and i scrunch my hair with that

and then i add mouse and scrunch my hair with that too

and then i blow dry my hair with a diffuser

and with a diffuser you dont have to be afraid of touching your hair with it. go as close to your roots as possible for more lift and whatnot. and scrunch your hair while you do it.

    i hope that helps :]

  • How can i get beachy waves NOT curls with a straightner?

so i got up and showered and everything then my hair air dried and when it was about 80% dry i put the garnier curl enhancing spray in and scrunched it a little bit but i want it to be a little more wavy and im wanting to use my chi to do it.How can i get beachy waves NOT curls with a straightner?
Use the curl enhancing spray while your hair is damp and braid your hair. Let your air dry or blow dry. I do this all the time during the summer! How can i get beachy waves NOT curls with a straightner?
OK so there's 2 things you could do:

If you know how to make curls with a straighener, do that and just don't hair spray it-- run your fingers through after curling, and it will loosen them up.

    OR

you can hold the straightener and literally make a ';wave'; motion on your hair. Sorry, it's hard to explain it through typing!

    For better tips with this check out youtube, lots of people do videos on that! Just type in something like ';waves with a straightener'; or ';beachy waves with a CHI';

    Good luck :)

How can i make my hair flat with a straightner?

''If your hair is long enough, you can straighten it, but if it's not, there's this Conair styling tool that has lots of attachments. One of them is a curling iron. It comes with a brush that can slide onto the iron. It's made for guys like you. You just brush your hair with it, and the heat makes it straight. If you're dealing with frizz, you can use a drying sheet to keep it down.

    Good Luck!!!''

Yeah, a natural look is perfect! How should i wear my hair to a family dinner?
Do a natural look, you don't need to impress your family. Maybe wear it in a loose, messy bun. Or you could just straighten it and put in some shine serum so that it looks sleek and polished.

i suggest looking at seventeen.com for hairstyle ideas.

I used the apHogee shampoo, conditioiner, and repairing spray bought from sallys beauty supplies and it saved my life lolDry, poofy, curly, damaged arg my hair sucks how can i fix it?
You can't 'repair damaged' hair. It's broken and the only thing you can do it to have it cut up to where the damage starts. It's awful having to cut hair that much, but honestly no treatment is going to completely repair your hair.

Just make sure you don't use the straighteners again.
somebody envied u really try zero frizz

conditioners such as johnson or creams

it will make it silky then try to make dry it make it curly maybe a new hairstyle

    hope that helps
honestly pick a weekend and stop washing you hair for a good 3-5 days. Let it get greasy so that natual oils will get back into your hair. Do this one weekend for 3 months and it will get better. Yo can also go to the sauna and but leave in condition while your in there. IT will get better soon.

    drink lots of water too
I have the same kind of hair and got hooked on straighteners, you can't get it back the way it was, but i find that herbal essences shampoo and conditioner works well, then use a tiny bit of serum so it smooths your hair out without making it greasy. Also if you use a good conditioning mask a couple of times a week.

I also take vitamins that have biotin in them, as the protein helps stregnthen your hair.

    Hope this helps! (:
i have really curly hair myself, and i got addicted to the straightener thing, and of course it ruined my hair. if you have the time and $$$ just go have it trimmed to get the broken and dead ends off... then leave it alone. wash it every OTHER day with shampoo and conditioner that is specifically for damaged hair, i use Garnier Fructise, this will treat it but also let your natural oils help reconstruct it. Garnier also has a great line of conditioning masks and syrums. dont style it at all because mousse and gels have alcohol in them that will dry it out even more. i kept mine in a french braid for about 3 weeks, and saw SO MUCH improvement. i really hope this works for you.

if it does and you want to straighten your hair again, i suggest using the REMINGTON Wet2Straight hair straightener, the ceramic pads are made with tourmeline and gems so the ions it lets off prevents damage, it has 30 settings, and comes with a graph chart so you can find the one thats PERFECT for your hair type. its only like $25 at walmart, and is totally worth it. this all worked for me =]
Go buy some Paul Mitchell deep conditioning. Put a tonne of it in and leave it in for 20-40 minutes. then rinse out, repeat about once or twice a week. Then invest in a better flat iron, Amika: is amazing, chi's and sedus are also good. Try using mousse (lots of it) to tame your hair and let it heal so try to stay away from straightening it for now. Try Curl.life's mousse by matrix.
Pantene Pro-V : The Curles Boucles shampoo and conditioner will help restore your natural curly look. It will moisturize you hair all day and leave you with nice defined curls. Next yo use the Pro-V Silkening Cream it is a humidity protection cream. We all know that having big curly hair can become hot and then frizz up. That is why now the last product to use is the Pantene Pro-V Smoothing Split-Ends.(Use Daily) Fights Frizz and Stays Smooth...All of these products run for about 4 to 5 dollars a bottle. So with these four items you shouldnt spend anymore than 25 to 30 dollars, which is way cheaper than a salon visit....Goodluck

I need help with curling and straighting?

Ok my hair is about shoulder lenght and i have a thin straightner and I want to know how to make it work good and then how do u curl your hair so it lokks crunchy and wet but stays that way? I am so confused about my hair?!?!?!?!I need help with curling and straighting?
well if you want the wet crunchy curl you would want to start doing your hair right out of the shower.. towel dry it then put a lot of mousse in you hair then fill it up side down and crunch it with your fingers. while still adding mousse. then when start spraying a spirits hair spray in your hair upside down also. then flip up and keep crunching then add just a little bit of red kin gel in your hands and add some to your hair. then add spirits hair spray to your air and then let it air dry it should stay that way the whole day... that's what i use to do when i was younger and wanted to have that wet look... hope it work's for youI need help with curling and straighting?
    http://www.seventeen.com/beauty/secrets/鈥?/a>
for curly hair.. try aussy mousse stuff.. or what ever its purple and smells amazing.. wash your hair.. towel dry it so its almost dry.. dont brush it unless its REALLY tangly.. if you have a bang.. blow dry it the way you usually do. and then put the mousse in a scrunch it.. if it gets flat during the day..go to the bathroom and put some water on your hands and scrunch some more.. its re-activates the hair gunk aha...
You have to use curlers first. Sleep with them or stay with them as much as you can. Then you can use mousse or a curl activator to keep them on place. Use your curler iron to put them in place if they start straighting again.
well, to keep it wet you got to spray it with hairspray.
never curl your hair wet it kills it
u need a really good hair straightner hunny if not purchase some thing that u can spray on ur hair then straighten it now the scrunch look if u get a perm u can wear it towel dreis and hair or jell sprayed then it looks scrunched cool im a stylist anything else hunny?
well how about you drop the curling iron and go buy yourself a good shampoo %26amp; conditoner that amplifies curls %26amp; go get a really good brand of hair gel.. wash your hair, condition it, towel dry it then put a layer of gel and scrunch it with your hands.. remember all the products have to be for curly hair.. there is a shampoo called ';wash %26amp; curl'; it makes your hair really curly and it is not expensive at all.. also remember that iorns are not good for your hair.. use them once in a blue. they damage hair and cause split ends

I have a straightner and i have a curling iron, how to i get hair thats kinda wavy but kinda straight?

    Like miley cyruses hair.

lots of points.I have a straightner and i have a curling iron, how to i get hair thats kinda wavy but kinda straight?
Ok I seen how to do this on the E! channel a while ago. First blow out your hair so its straight but it doesnt have to be bone straight. now take your curling iron and wrap sections of your hair around a 1 1/2 barrel curling iron. Dont open the curling iron like you usually do. just wrap your hair around the outside of the iron and hold it for 10-15 seconds. Spritz sum hair spray after to hold the waves.I have a straightner and i have a curling iron, how to i get hair thats kinda wavy but kinda straight?
straighten it then use the curler to curl it
    blowwdryerrr..

But seriously... dont try to look like miley cyrus..

    be ORIGINAL.
after you get out of the shower blow dry your hair then i think your hair will look fine and your hair is not the right style to do that and if you really want to though you can try straighting a little the curling it and youll have to use alot of hair spray and gell i recomend panten and bed head and try to do your hair so the top isnt flat agenst your scalp

How to get natural, soft curly hair?

    I like loose ringlets.

Is there any way to make my hair like that without curling it or a perm? And no gel either?

Like when I get out of the shower, I use mousse and scrunch my hair, and its really pretty, but then it sort of falls limp and goes poofy when it dries...

I don't like using that much hairspray, and I've been using my straightner less so my hair won't be that damaged and poofy because I used to straighten it everyday.

Also, my scalp gets really itchy FAST, so I got a tip from someone that says rinse your hair with cold water after you condition and shampoo it, and it makes it shiny when it dries, and softer and makes your hair follicle seal close, so no polution gets in it.

It's been working good so far, and it's not that itchy anymore, but everytime my wind blows in the wind, my hair gets dirty...

Is there any way to get the curls, keep my hair clean and reduce the poofiness? How to get natural, soft curly hair?
Try this: Do what you normally do after you get out of the shower but don't put the mousse in all the way to the scalp, just the ends. Then, with a bunch of mini chompies, twist up your hair into little rows and let it dry.

I can't find a picture of what exactly I'm talking about but I've done this with my hair and it works really well. The closest thing I found to the twist is belowHow to get natural, soft curly hair?
Oh good, I couldn't email or IM you so email me if you want more info. I have the curls you are talking about in this question. No product, no heat, no mess. I can tell you how and I can tell you now that if you have even a slight wave to your hair it will work! truelovevirgoangel@yahoo.com

yes try this i tried it and it actually works as long as u put them in right or try using overnight curlershttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WoZ2QGq0n鈥?/a>
What I do is after i get out of the shower put your hair in like a clamp or clam (whatever you call it) and leave it in overnight. This will give you loose curls and it looks beautiful inn the sunlight!
You should b able to use the same moose application for this effect except do it when its dry instead of when its wet. Wet hair dilutes the product and hold on to any sand that may be in the wind g. So try blow/air drying b4 using moose and you should be just fine. Ur hair will get dirty... that's why we wash.

pick one.Curling and making waves with a straightner?
i've done it to myself , but i'm not quite sure how to explain it . i looked at a video i found on youtube ... just type in ';how to curl hair with a straightener '; and i'm sure you'll find many videos . hope i helped (=
instead of using a straightener why don't you use a hair curler? I'm pretty sure that will make it easier for you.
I curl my extensions with a straightner but i think you'd do it the same way,

    1. take a section of hair like an 1/2 inch wide

    2. clamp you hair at the route

    3. horizontally spin the straightner one full time, and pul it all the way down, you should have a pretty curl.

I tried to word that as simple as i could, sorry if its confusing.

How do a loose curl but make it look kind of natural and cute?

i want to do like a curl/wave for school..i see girls with their hair like that and i wanna know how to do it..

i have a straightner that can curl and a curling iron which one would do it better?..

Please help:)How do a loose curl but make it look kind of natural and cute?
A curling iron. Use a really small one and curl all your hair super tight. It should naturally loosen and look like you want it to by the time you get to school. How do a loose curl but make it look kind of natural and cute?
    i just use my finger.

when my hair is wet i curl it around my finger, and if you do it every 10 minutes while it's wet, it stays.

i've only tried with one ringlet at the back, but you could probably do it with more.

and i've already got really curly hair, so i don't know if that helps.

but i think it's worth a try anyway.

Tips for taking care of chemically treated hair?

I'm planning to get my hair chemically straightened with Ogilvye hair straightner. My sister in law is gonna do it for me. My hair is now dry and frizzy and when I straighten it with a flat iron, it stays frizzy. Also its very fragile and breakable. I don’t flat iron or blow dry that much. Im just wondering what should I expect from the chemical straightener? Will it make the frizz go away. Will it be straight when I come out of the shower. By the way, my hair is not that curly. Loose but unmanageable curls. Please tell me what products to use to keep it looking healthy. How bad will the straightner damage my hair? Will it make my hair fall out? Will it stop my hair from growing? How long after I chemically straighten my hair can I get highlights?Tips for taking care of chemically treated hair?
I am a hairstylist, so I might be able to help as long as you can get a hold of the products I recommend. First, if your hair is damaged now its not a good idea to use relaxer (straightener) just yet. I would work on getting it healthy first by going to a salon and getting a chemistry treatment done. Then I would get some kind of shampoo and conditioner that mends your hair, my recommendation is Redken Extreme shampoo and Redken Clear Moister conditioner. I would use that until it was gone, then I think you would be ok to get the relaxer done. To answer your other questions the relaxer will damage your hair pretty bad if you don't do it right, it could make your hair fall off in some spots if you leave it on for too long. DO NOT leave it on longer than the instructions tell you!!!! If your scalp starts to burn before its time to take it off, you should immediately wash it off!! And for highlights I would wait about 3 to 4 weeks after the relaxer. I hope I helped. :)

  • How To Straighten Hair?

K, I use a ceramic Revlon with a tourmaline round brush. I dont use any straightning products though. Anyways, mid day my hair starts to curl up and get tangly!

Is it the straightner? Or is there a better way to straighten it? What products, if any, work for you? PLZ Answer! How To Straighten Hair?
My hairstylist told me best way to get it straight is to first blowdry it. Brush it out as your blowdrying it. And when hair is dry. Completely dry you section hair and use straightner. I never knew how until i tried her way now im a pro. Always leaves my hair stick straight all the timeHow To Straighten Hair?
What i do is put my hair in sections and start straightning from the bottom to the top.
Try biosilk products and heat protectent

get a sedu striaghtener only heard good about them and they supposedly dont let ur hair frizz out..

my mom used a chi and it worked great but ive heard the chi fries your hair worse than the sedu.
well you should use a product that helps protect your hair from the straightner

if you dont you'll soon notice how unhealthy your hair is getting

and a smoothing creme should help a ton
my hair doesnt stay straight either because it's really fine, but i think what helps most is using a straightening cream. and don't brush your hair right after you run the hot iron through it because it needs to cool first.
It's the straightener. I had a revlon, and it was awful. it never straightened my hair! you need a good quality straightener. sure, it will cost a lot but it will make all the difference! your hair will be so much prettier :) i recommend the Sedu, i have it and its amazing!

also, you really should use a heat protectant to make sure your hair doesnt get damaged - I use Biolage heat protecting spray, and it works great.

so go ahead, invest in a really good straightener, and you'll have stick straight hair!
    get it proffesionally straightened?

or try some straightening shampoo from the supermarket, my friends are always going on about how that helps

but i do wanr you, that straightening does damage your hair, think of it as almost 'frying' your hair. and when your hair is damaged it become frizzy and less likely to stay straightened.

gooodluck. i hope you find something that works! :)
Finally a question I actually know somethin about lol.I have had a lot of trouble with my hair too because it is super curly and frizzy. To protect my hair from the heat I use Biosilk(you can get it at Wal*Mart or beauty shops)the amout you use depends on your hair. The flat iron I used was a Remigton Wet to Straight it works good, but now I have one that is almost like a CHI but a different name.I don't think you should use a round brush though that may be another reason.I also straighten my hair in sections.
well first off i will begin by saying hello :] . i think that what you need is some helpful advice and some useful products to use. first off, your goinggood by using a cermic straightner . although, usually the more expensive the better .i recommend you investing a chi or corioliss straightner. both are ceramoc as well . this means steam comes out by getting rid of all the bad oils in ur hair and giving it the moustire and shine it needs.it doesn't damamge your hair what so ever. both are price but i think worth every cent. as well as the straighning process. first, shampoo and condition your ends. next, when you get ou grab a towel and twist it around your hair to get the excess water out. next, i apply from garnier fructis sleek and shine serum. it's not cheap and u can get it normally for around 2 dollars but i get it on sale for 1 dollar and wih coupons its free. next, i apply from chi its called silk infusion and it does wonders! not only do i use high shiny laminationg shampoo but the straightner makes it super shiny as well and with the slleek and shine and now the silk infusion you got a diamond ball all nice and straight. next, i apply heat protectant. this is the most important. i like to use sunsilk heat protectant it comes in a purple bottle. nice size three dollars and the biggest chi silk infusion comes in like 12 dollars, but its big and worth all the money. so after you combed and combined everythung section your hair into pieces ans slowly take very very smal strands from each section and from bottom to down move it so slowly and walll ahh! feeel your hair after and then tell me how it went. its beyond silky and smooth. :] goood luck dearr

    Hair...???

i recently got my haircut and its like 2.5 inches beloww my shoulder. you know when you do loose curls with a straightner.

How do i get my hair curly?

How do i make my hair curly with a curling iron or a straightner? I want it kind of spiraly..not just curled at the ends.

I have a choir concert tonight and wana make my hair look cute...i have straight hair so i want it curly.

Do you know how to do it?

and i dont wana scrunch it btw..

thanks. :]How do i get my hair curly?
well you need to use a spritz or mousse. Apply it to the strands to be curled then take the curling iron and place it at the root and begin to twirl. opening and closing the mouth of the iron to let more hair wrap around the burrel. Then hold once all hair is wrapped in a spiral around the iron. hold until the spritz makes no more noise the slide the barrel of the iron out of the hair but down the middle it will stay curled. Then go to the next peice. Have fun it take a while to do the entire head. How do i get my hair curly?
um just take the curling iron and wrap your hair around it. its pretty simple
get a curling iron with a spiral rod and then dont cerl at the and just start like half way up or something however much you sont want curled
I don't know I want to make my hair like that too i'm going to wait for a best answer.
You use a curling iron to curl curl your hair! If you want it super-curly then you put rollers in the night b4 and sleep w/ them in.
tape pubic hair to your head
You should use a curling iron. Start by separating your hair into layers (bottom to top) and curl the under layers into spiral pieces first (spray each chunk with hairspray to hold) and just keep taking down layers to proceed throughout your whole head - using the spray to hold each tendril. You can then brush the curls out to make soft waves or leave them all in ringlets!

Good luck with your hair - and the concert!
get some of those curler things you roll up in your hair and leave overnight..dunno what there called but they work great :)
Start at the bottom of a small section of hair and then curl it around the iron until you've reached where you want the curl to start. then hold it for ten seconds, and let go and slowly unwind the curl, don't pull!

Or, wash your hair and braid it, one long braid, let it dry, and you'll have waves that resemble curls.

You could also put curlers in and 1. leave them in over night, or 2. use the hair dryer while they're in.

    Good luck!
You can use a curling iron or go somewhere and they can curl it for you...which is what i would recommend.

For a professional it won't take that long and will have a better result.

If not just do the best with what you have available.

can you tell me how to dry it, how to wash it,how to style it.help! How can i have victoria secret hair with curly hair?!?!!!(picture)?
After getting out the shower, add a serum in your hair while it's still wet, it doesn't matter what kind of serum. I use a John Freida anti-frizz serum. After that, use a bristled, medium to large, round brush with holes throughout the brush so when you blow dry your hair using the brush, the hot air can pass through the brush. Take the brush, comb down your hair (from underneath), blow drying, and when you get to the bottom of your hair, curl the brush underneath to form an inward curl at the bottom of your hair that comes in inward your face, still keeping the blow dryer blowing on your hair. Keep doing that with the rest of your hair. Your hair should be somewhat straight. When your done with that, take medium to large rollers (I use foamy-type rollers that are really squishy. You can get them at Wal-Mart, and the rollers are purple) and roll them throughout your entire head (when you put the rollers down the middle of your head, they have to go down the middle in a straight line like a mohawk, and the sides go downwards on the sides of your face). After applying the rollers, blow dry on low heat on your hair with the rollers still in them so the heat can make the rollers act like heated curling irons. Then apply hairspray while the rollers are still in your hair. Leave the rollers in your hair for 20-30 minutes. Take the rollers out, mess around your hair a little bit so they form the way you want them to, add a little more hairspray as a finishing touch, and you're done! How can i have victoria secret hair with curly hair?!?!!!(picture)?

Your curly curles are good, because what you can do is simply wait a few days until they calm a little - and voila! you'll get the perfect curles!

    2) If that doesn't work for you, I would use my straightener to curl my hair. If you don't know how to do that, it could be an issue - i'll try to explain as best as I can. okay.

so step one: put a strand of ur hair through the top and bottom part of your straightener (like you would if you were straightening your hair) but don't press down on you hair just yet. First, loop the strand over the top part of your straightener, and in between both parts again. Now down on the strand. I don't know how good your straightener is, but with my straightener, you have to hold it there for about six seconds and then slowly move the straightener down your hair (just like you would if you were straightening it, except maybe a little slower) - voila! you'll get curles exactly like hers. The only issue there might be, is that it's a little time consuming.

How do i get my hair like this with a thin chi straightner?... help schools coming..?

i need to do this in 20 mins or less... my hair is straight! not a single curl or wave so how do i get it curly or wavy ?? with a hair straghtner.. go to google and type in miley cyrus curly hair.. the very first one... how do i get it like that? with a chi??How do i get my hair like this with a thin chi straightner?... help schools coming..?
section hair in half(of in thirds if you prefer)

1: take a small piece of hair

2.put straightner on it and turn straightner 180 degrees and hold it going down.

for looser hair take bigger pieces of hair.

or better yet just braid your DAMP hair overnight for no heat. the more the braids the tighter the wave.

or put in curl enhancing mouse gel etc, and put your hair in velcro rollers overnight after your hair is DAMP from a shower, not wet.How do i get my hair like this with a thin chi straightner?... help schools coming..?
try braiding it over night, in tight braids. put some moose on the braids. you'll get a wavy sort of crimped look =]
WOW you cant do that with a chi a chi is a straighner not a curler learn to read its called go to a hair salon and get a perm it will stay in your hai for about a year
Try this....the other day I put mousse in 2 inch sections, and twisted, and clipped the ends to the to the top of my head, until my whole head was twisted. I sprayed with hairspray then, slept on it over night. (I put a cap thing over it so it wouldn't bug me.) I woke op undid it and my hair looked like twisted pretzels. I sprayed hair spray. Then in leave in conditioner, (I'm sure light detangler would work though.) And brushed through with a wide tooth comb. My waves were perfect. It looked like a cross between crimped, curled, and scrunched. Try it. I dunno if I explained it well enough though. Srry .......hope I helped a bit!!!!

I don't think it will look like hers a whole bunch though. And sorry it dosen;t involve the Chi.

just was ur hair with detangeler shampoo the use a hot comb but dont perm your hair will fall out trust me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
try getting it thinned, then try a hair relaxer. Then it will be calmer and if you want to straighten it, it should be easier.

my sister has long hair up to the start of her butt :p and its brown wavy and when she washes it its puffy. shes in grade 6 (shes gonna be 12 in may) and she can only wear lip gloss and a bit of concealer although she sneaks a bit of mascara :p she wans to looknice for tomorrow but she washed her hair and she said its ugly. she wants to make her teeth look a bit whiter without using anything unhealty. she straighens her hair a lot so for now shes not allowed to do it. how can she look nice for tomorrow? like a bit of make up wise and hair wise? thanks! and shes not gonna cut herhair! :p

she wantsto curl her hair with her straightner but it never works out, how do u do it? she doenst look good with head bands :pBeauty help!!!thanks!!!?
    Okay,

    so

    hair

    1) to curl your hair you have to first straighten all of it

    once you have straightned it

    follow this video

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv-JSQbcu鈥?/a>

and then do the lipgloss, mascara, concelaer (i don't think she needs this) thing.

    help me?

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>Beauty help!!!thanks!!!?
uh, her hair is way 2 long. shes 2 old 4 that. its really easy to curl it with a flat iron, go on youtube. good luckk
Well, she could take a curling iron and do barrel curls

    http://labelleetleblog.files.wordpress.c鈥?/a>

its easy to do, just take one inch sections of hair and twist it around a curling iron, then put in some anti frizz serum and spritz some hairspray on.

then she could use concealer, mascara, lipgloss or a lip stain.

If she wants to look nicer, she could use a small amount of eyeliner and trace a very thin line around her eyes. Maybe use a small amount of glitter, not the cheap kind, but a shimmer and put it on her cheekbones as a highlighter

If she wants whiter teeth, im sorry but that takes time. But she could always try brushing with baking soda, that apparently helps whiten teeth
Okay for hair if she can't straighten it then blow dry it. take the brush and curl in in towards her face..she could take her bangs/trim up like this..

    http://i208.photobucket.com/albums/bb230鈥?/a>

Make up..Whats there to say? concealer, lipgloss, maybe you could sneak a little bit of light brown eyeliner and some clear mascara (or dark)
to whiten her teeth, there's lipsticks with some kinda reflecting pigments in them that make ur teeth appear like they're whiter. dunno the name though
I have the same sort of puffy wavy hair and when I was her age god i was a pain to deal for it. My suggestion for her is when she steps out of a bath to use anti sponge tresseme and with her hands and fingers twist it with the product while it is still wet, it takes a while but it helps give it shape and wavy hair become curly really easily it just needs a little push. Then she can blow it SLOWLY so it doesnt freeze up. Continue twisting the hair while shes doing it. Tell her not to touch it after shes done and not brush it either using conditioner will help do away with any tangles. For her face just trim her eyebrows they do a lot to your eyes, as well are curling her eyelashes. Since she's still a bit young her skin is probably still fresh and pretty and she probably doesn't need much makeup. Tell her to drink through a straw it helps reduce stains on the teeth. Hope this help and im sure she will look very beautiful for her big day.

How can I get pin straight hair?

I have really wavy, thick hair. It has a TON of volume. It's sholder length. It used to be extremely curly until around age 5 and then it became wavy. I got it chemically straightened last year, but it didn't work. I want my hair to be straighter than pin straight, silky smooth, frizz free, and flat (NO volume! I hate volume 'cause it just poofs). How can I get this look? I usually straighten my hair with my Sedu straightener. I'm not looking for a new straightner, but for products that I can use. I usually air dry my hair. If I blow dry it is usually still wavy. Today I noticed some parts of the back of my hair have spiral curls (it's curling again! AHHH). What products can I use? PLEASE HELP!How can I get pin straight hair?
    WHAT TO DO AND USE

Start with a leave in conditioner I use Pantene Smoothing Comb in Treatment

Blow dry it in sections using John Frieda Frizz-Ease Straight Answer Straightening Spray( my hair is still poofy and wavy after I blowdry and use this but I swear at the end this makes the difference.

Before you use your flat iron try one of these:

John Frieda Frizz Ease Hair Serum Extra Strength Formula(target/walmart)

    Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum(salon)

    Chi Silk Infusion(salon)

Fx Special Effects Flat Iron Spray (target/walmart)

    L'Oreal Heat Seeker Straightening Cream(target/walmart)

My favorite is Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum and Chi Silk Infusion. How can I get pin straight hair?
there is a treatment done at hair salons. call around and ask about the japenese straightner
    GET UR HAIR CUT/TRIMMED

    the products for straight hair

is john frieda. thats the only thing

thats ever worked for me when i

    wanted straight hair.

    or try sunsilk
I find that hair products (besides anti-frizz) do no good. The best thing is a really HOT and good straightner!
my hair is just like that. i hate to break it to you, but with thick and very curly hair, you will never be able to get it pin straight. chemical straightening and flat irons can pull the curls straight, but not pin straight. the people you see with pin straight hair are people with naturally straight hair or people with almost straight hair that a flat iron straightens easily. sorry.
In my opinion, curly hair is really pretty, and you should leave it!

But since you really want it straightened, buy shampoo designed for straight hair, and when you get out of the shower, brush it until its dry. The less you brush it, the curlier it'll be. Once its dry, put half of your hair up and straighten it in layers. Put it all down when you're done with the layers and smooth out any remaining kinks. Then use some kind of cream to flatten it out more. Good luck!
go to the salon and ask for a permanent straight... dont get cheap ones, they may or may NOT work... but if you can afford the expensive ones (about 150$ or maybe more), it should work!

by the way, permenant straight is just right for TONS of hairs
I would go and get your hair thinned at a hair salon. That should help with the poof. Then straitening will probably be easier, also you may want to lightly spray your hair (with hair spry) so it will stay strait. While you're at the hair salon ask your hairstylist for some advise.
i think the less product the better... also depends on where you live...if there is a lot of humidity than ur hair will never be as straight as you want it... you are just gonna have to face the facts that its a STRAIGHTENER that you neeed... i would go with the CHI ... its awesome... it gets so hot that you can burn ur hand on ur hair... but cant get beauty without a lil pain =D

oh ya and i'm mexican, my friend is puerto rican, and my other friend has philipino hair... so it works on all of our fro's
well my hair is like african-american hair and im asian. i just used the jap. hair straightner and i love it! but use lots of conditioner.
Get a hair cut that will thin it. Try using Garneir products, they work really well. Also, try using a Chi hair straightener. They heat up very quickly, and are one of the best straghteners. good luck.
you should strain it every day and use hair spray for it to stay longer.
I have the Sedu hair straightener, it works PERFECTLY, i defnitely recommend it!!! You can get it on www.folica.com. It's SUCH a fantastic hair straightener, it doesn't give split ends (i got mine at christmas last year, i still don't have split ends!) my hair isn't frizzy anymore, get it, you won't regret it!!! i promise!!
i have just the advice for you! i too! have the same kinda hair with natural volume, and when i want to flatten it down, i use matrix biolage hydra-seal leave-in crem'e after washing and conditioning hair. after adding that, comb ur hair (wide tooth comb), AND put a skatter duche-bag hat!!! my red headed step-brother gave me the tip! and he's a doche-bag! but yea, just put it on after heating it up with a blow dryer, or in the clothes drier. leave it on until hair is dry. straighten the length, (best part about the hydra-seal is that its also a heat protector!), and hair spray it with a soft holdin blend at the roots. this works better in fall, winter, and spring cause of less humitity, but the drier the air, the better it is. hope this helps!
Something really good is Aveda's hang straight. Also using a serum for your hair will help the frizz and fly aways. Light elements from Aveda is really good. Mixing them together will really help. Aveda also came out with a shampoo and conditioner called smooth elements. Those are 4 things you can try, they work great for me
